This event will allow you to earn up to 20 tokens for IGOROK, Furnace, Valkin, Bramble, Zomm, and 16 tokens Pontifex (plus more from shining barrels in the event dungeon)! All the quests are available right now. We also have a special event dungeon with shining barrels lying around that are filled to the brim with jackpot loot. This event will go from now until Thursday, when the Guild Games begin! Be sure to have your guild lineups finalized BEFORE the games begin.

Work together with your guildmates to solve the scavenger hunt and collect Guild Points. You can access the fancy new Guild Leaderboard that is updated in **real time** by going to the normal Leaderboard menu, just look for the "Current Event" tab! And of course, the Guild Games will have fabulous prizes for the top guilds! Bramble and Kobal have some fancy new skins, but your guild will have to earn them! We will be adding a few extra quests later today (Friday), as well as a few more on Sunday. Good luck!

During this event, all Normal and Slow Warriors gain Retaliate Boost, meaning that Slow speed heroes have an increased chance to do a retaliation attack and Normal speed heroes will have the chance that Slow heroes normally have to retaliate! This applies in both PVE and PVP. In addition, the event has a ticket shop and features a special quest chain that will allow you to unlock the Dragonkin Squinch skin! If you've already got the skin, you'll get three free Heroic Summons. There will be quests added each day, so be sure to stop by and see what's new! Go forth and conquer!

The Howling Saber increases Tsume's defense, max health, and crit chance, but that's just the beginning. When Tsume does an Epic Attack, his healh will be decreased to 15%. Why in the world would hurting the wielder be good? Remember Tsume's Savage Fury passive? That's why. He'll then launch a brutal attack, and will heal himself by the amount of damage he deals. In the end, you could end up with more health than you started with! And because the weapon likes Tsume, it restores the health lost if his attack misses. Also, Tsume is feeling rather celebratory with his fancy new weapon, so watch out for some Tsume-flavored festivities starting later today...

Well, except for the Root of All Evil, but that's the exception... You'll have plenty of quests to complete for Nature tokens, materials, and other loot, with a group of quests available now, and new ones coming every day of the event. There are also several repeatable quests, including one that will allow you to get Lily tokens. Note: That particular quest can only be completed 50 times, but that's still 50 Lily tokens! Go out there and smell the flowers. Unless you're allergic like me, in which case, look at the flowers and try not to sneeze too much.

First, we're adding an additional Tune attempt - #13 - that guarantees Legendary rarity for a sizable gem cost. Lesser: 60 gems Improved: 300 gems Greater: 780 gems Superior: 1140 gems Second, we've adjusted the behavior of "bonus" per tune such that when you do get a Success in Rarity - it no longer resets the "bonus" progress. Example: If I am on attempt 5 while at Rare going to Heroic when it succeeds, I will start as if I was on attempt 6 tuning towards Legendary in terms of bonus chance to succeed. Previously, a successful Rarity improvement would restart "bonus" progress back to step 1. Net result is Legendary success happens more often even before the 13th step. Enjoy - and tune responsibly!

He brought the egg to his jungle sanctuary and protected it with care. One day a vicious fire ravaged the forest and Julius lost the egg in the chaos. When the fire died out, Julius was relieved to find the egg unharmed. Suddenly, the egg started to hatch, and a young dragon whelp was born. Although Ferno felt at home in the forest, his capacity for destruction proved troublesome for the other woodland creatures. He was too young to control his wildfire breath and Julius had his hands full caring for the reckless baby dragon. As Ferno started to mature, he decided to leave the forest in search of others like him and a less flammable home. Most Hated Heroes: Those pesky Elves Allies: Julius, Torchy, and Bauble Favorite Food: Goblin ribs, well-done Element: Nature: +30% bonus against WATER enemies, -25% vs FIRE enemies. However, the young dragon proved to be far harder to tame and his wildfire caused destruction throughout the woodland realm. The Dragon Whelp left the forest in search of others like him and to find a new home where his destructive capabilities wouldn't be such a burden. Whelp found friends in other flying heroes, Torchy who shared the Whelps capacity for fire, and Bauble who is immune to being burned. You can take Ferno for a test flight in a special event dungeon, and there are quests that will allow you to earn tokens for him, as well as other loot. We'll be adding additional quests each day, and none of the quests will expire before the end of the event. Ferno will be roosting in the VIP Portal, meaning that Shade is now available in the Heroic Portal! NOTE: This event will end on Monday at 3pm CST. There will be one-day events on Monday and Tuesday, followed by a normal, longer event that will begin on Wednesday. We wish a happy and festive Independence Day to all our players in the U.S.!

Prepare for a week of raids, tokens, bonus events, and more! Last time we ran this event, we had quests related to very specific heroes, but this time we've widened the requirements quite a bit. Instead of "Win with Rogar", we have quests like "Win with a Dwarf". We hope this will allow more players to participate and enjoy their favorite heroes in the various classes/families. Speaking of which, if you're curious about the difference between classes and families, check the "INFO" button on the event menu. There will be many quests that will allow you to earn tokens. We'll be adding more every day, and none of them will expire until the end of the event! In addition, we have several repeatable quests that will naturally be completed as you go through the non-repeatable quests. How convenient! Exchange Rate gets you a free raid ticket for every 4 raids you attempt! Participant Award will allow you to run one of three special dungeons every time you attempt 8 raids. These dungeons will expire after two hours, or when you beat one of them, whichever occurs first. Winner, Winner will allow you to activate a random boost event (evos, gold, or even a bounty hunter event) for two hours. If you collect this quest while a boost event is still active, it will randomly select from the three possible events again. If an event that is already active is chosen, it will refresh the timer for that event! Now go forth and conquer your enemies!

We'll be adding new quests every day, and there are four event dungeons for you to loot, all of which will give you event tickets to spend. We've been hard at work developing a completely new event from the ground up, and have been talking extensively with our Meta Focus Group to design an event that we're confident you'll enjoy. I don't want to spoil all of the surprises, but I can say that the event will be ALL PvE, have a ticket shop with lots of goodies, and a fun new style of quest that will allow you and your guild to earn extra tickets every day! The event will begin next Thursday at 3pm CST and will end at 11:59pm CST on Sunday, allowing guilds to change their lineups for the week. PLEASE NOTE: As with last time, whatever guild you are in at the start of the guild games will be the only one you can earn guild points for during the event!--- UPDATE 1: Guild Point ClarificationHey all! There was a bit of confusion during this weekend's Guild Summit regarding how Guild Points will work, so I want to clarify everything here. All of the quests during the Guild Games will pay out Guild Points and Tickets. The number of Guild Points and Tickets will not always be equal. There are no infinitely-repeatable quests, and the quests will pay out a total of approximately 60,000 Guild Points (per person). Guild Points will also be paid out via the event dungeons, which ARE infinitely-repeatable, but they are meant to be the differentiation between the top guilds who have 50 members completing every quest, not a substitute for the quests or for inactive Guild members. As such, each manual run of an event dungeon will pay out 60 Guild Points, and each Quick Loot (yes, they are quick-lootable) will pay out 6 Guild Points. The event dungeons will also pay out tickets, but the ticket payout will NOT vary between manual runs and Quick Loots. These decisions were made using the commentary we received in from past Guild Games and from discussions with the Meta Focus Group. I will be posting more updates over the next few days regarding rewards and other parts of the Guild Games. Minor edit: Quick Loots provide 6 Guild Points, not 10. --- Update 2: Quests and DungeonsHey everyone! Today I’ve got some information regarding the Guild Game quests! While the Guild Games will technically last about three and a half days (Thursday at 3pm CST until Sunday at 11:59pm CST to avoid conflicts with weekly guild tournaments), we decided to only have three ‘days’ of quests. This means that we will have a set of quests released at the start of the games, at 3pm CST on Friday, and 3pm CST on Saturday. There will be a few more quests released on Saturday than on Thursday or Friday to account for the extra time on Sunday without rushing players to complete an entirely new days’ worth of quests in 9 hours. Speaking of quests, we’re doing something new with scavenger hunt quests! They’ve proven to be very popular in the past, but when you have so many people working to figure them out at the same time, they inevitably get solved very quickly, no matter how difficult we make them. To keep things interesting, we’ve decided to have multiple short scavenger hunts as opposed to a single long hunt to spread out the excitement. On Thursday and Friday, we will be releasing a four-step scavenger hunt, and we will be releasing TWO four-step hunts on Saturday. None of these scavenger hunts need to be completed before the others, and they will not expire until the end of the event. In addition, each day we will be releasing a new event dungeon. As stated before, these dungeons will pay out Guild Points and tickets, and will be infinitely repeatable. We will also be releasing several non-repeatable, non-scavenger hunt quests every day. These quests will have to do with that day’s event dungeon. Both the event dungeons and dungeon-related quests WILL expire at the end of each day (Saturday’s will not expire until the end of the event). Finally, we have a new style of quest that adds a new mini-game to the Guild Games, daily repeatable quest leaderboards! Each day, there will be a relatively simple quest that can be repeated up to a maximum of 5 times (these repeats are not stackable). Each completion of this quest will pay out ticket and Guild Points for the main Guild Games, but will also count towards a separate leaderboard. At the end of the day, guilds that have at least 50 completions (so 10 members completing all 5 instances of the quest or some other combination adding up to 50 completions) will get an additional amount of tickets. ***These will only be paid out to guild members that completed at least one instance of the repeatable quest***! If you don’t participate at all, you won’t get any rewards, even if every other member of your guild completed all five instances of their quest. The amount of tickets that you will get increases if your guild reaches 100, 150, and 200 completions. There is no additional payout for reaching 250 completions, as we did not want to punish guilds that had a single member who is unable to complete their quests for some reason. Furthermore, these payouts are set regardless of how many other guilds reach the various thresholds and how quickly they are done. The main Guild Games are meant to be competitive, but these leaderboards are meant to simply be you working together with your guild to achieve a common goal. Naturally, the repeatable quests will disappear at the end of each day. On Saturday, there will be two repeatable quests that will both feed into the same leaderboard with doubled requirements and rewards. Of note, while the individual instances of the repeatable quests do pay out Guild Points, the daily leaderboards will not. Phew, that’s a lot of stuff! I'll be back tomorrow with an outline of the guild rewards. We’re very excited for this weekend and hope you are too! --- Update 3: RewardsAs with other aspects of our Guild Game planning, we consulted with the focus group on these rewards. The runes are Light Planning runes. Damage Reduction, Damage Reduction, Defense, Damage Reduction vs. Casters If a guild that has already won a Guild Games title wins again, they will get progress towards an achievement that will unlock another, more exclusive Guild Games title! Keep in mind that we plan to run Guild Games with greater frequency moving forward, so this will be an attainable but challenging goal. You'll be able to see preview images for the Abigail and Hansuke skins in-game tomorrow. Of additional note, the focus group tells me that you'll want to know that the event dungeons will have a chance to drop jewels and essences. There are also several particularly juicy items in the ticket shop, but I can't spoil *everything*. ---

Now it's time to recharge with the Constructs! We've got three days of mechanical madness for you to enjoy, with new quests every day. There is a special quest that is only available to players that are level 60 or above, but the quest requires you to beat all four event dungeons which you wouldn't be able to do unless you're level 60 anyways. Other than that, all the quests will be visible to all players.

Could Squinch actually be a dragon?! (Spoilers: No. Squinch is a goblin. But he likes pretending to be a dragon, and Ferno seems to enjoy having a buddy to set people on fire with.)

During the event, all fire heroes with alternate skins equipped will get the Burning Skin passive in both campaign and PVP dungeons, giving them a chance to burn melee attackers. There are also quests that will pay out tokens for Koros, Lupina, Astrid, Squinch, Ignus, and Nitpick. There are also fire crafting materials (yes, including Pyre Embers ). And remember, only YOU can prevent dungeon fires.

Starting tomorrow, a new chapter will be available in Boss Mode. This one will only have 2 dungeons as opposed to 6, but we will be adding more new Boss Mode chapters every so often, so keep an eye out for them moving forward! In addition, starting tomorrow, players will have access to first stage Epic Weapon materials starting at level 50. You will still need to be level 60 to get the second and third stage Epic materials. We are also lowering the threshold for Greater Rune materials and purchases of those materials to level 50.

We also have two event dungeons, one of which is a ride-along where you can test out Ekko's Ghost Dynamo. Also, be on the lookout for Interrogator Balog, who will be popping up in campaign dungeons. He's not very fond of light heroes.

This week, all elves will have the passive Elven Grace, which makes them take significantly decreased damage from critical hits, and allows them to deal 2x damage against goblin enemies. New quests will be added every day this week, and we have a stocked ticket shop running so you can choose your own rewards. Also, be on the lookout for something special tomorrow.
